I am configuring my first Cisco switch, Cisco Catalyst WS-C2960+24LC-S Switch.
I'm following a set if instructions as it is being used for AVoIP. So far so good until I get to the
"interface range gigabitethernet" where it throws up an "invalid input detected". See attached picture.
It does it on the "interface range gigabitethernet" and the "interface gigabitethernet"
Searching the forums talks about permissions but I have the # permission.
Any help much appreciated.

do a "sho int status" to see the interface names. I believe your switch has fastE ports so the syntax would be:
int range fa0/1 - 24
