"REMOTE AAA SERVERS UNREACHABLE" with domain login (NEXUS 9300)

I am getting the message "Remote AAA servers unreachable" upon logging in ( I can ping both Radius servers just fine though from the switch.) with access denied (obviously since it can't verify with the Radius servers). The local user can sign in just fine.

Upon checking  the error I am getting from the console is %SYSMGR-2-SERVICE_CRASHED: Service "Radius Daemon" (PID *******) hasn't caught signal 6 (core will be saved.).

This is a Nexus C93180YC-FX running NXOS 10.4 (2) (latest release). I am stumped, I have 2 Nexus switches with this issue and no issues whatsoever with any of my Catalyst switches.

check the release notes, maybe an old bug has returned ?

After a reboot of the switch, that error has gone away and now the logs just say "ALL RADIUS SERVERS FAILED TO RESPOND". I can ping the radius servers without any issue and the catalyst switches are authenticating flawlessly. Just an issue with the Nexus switches.
