Rename Server in CiscoWorks

Hi All,

I was wondering if there is a script to rename a server in Ciscoworks?

I am using LMS 4.0 running on Windows Server 2003.

I have gone through the following link, but I am still experiencing problems with Device Center for example, the URL still points to the old hostname.

Hi James,

That link is for a much older version of LMS.

In LMS 4.0 you need to use the script outlined in this link for changing the hostname:

I would strongly recommend reverting your earlier changes. Then ensure everything is working correctly with the old hostname prior to using the above procedure for changing the hostname.

I'll try the script and reclone the server if it fails and as you say try running it again without making any other changes.
