I would like to create a usernname ROOT on our Nexus 9396 Switch but when I try to create the account it says ROOT is a reserved username. What does the switch do with the ROOT user? Is there a way for me to change the password so I can use this account?
Thanks,
Chris

- These devices use linux as a baseline-os, were root is the superuser; please use another username then root.

I use ROOT all the time in linux. Why do I have to have one device where I'm required to use something else?
