What version of LMS is this? Please post the entire restorebackup.log.

First, you should never be doing anything with NMSROOT\backup. If this directory ever becomes damaged, you will need to reinstall all of LMS.
As for the other problem, this looks really bad. What output do you get when you run:
C:\PROGRA~1\CSCOpx\bin\pdshow

Hi jclarke,
I got a cmd prompt window running with a list of script which I can't see clearly of the output. Is that normal? Or does it mean my data is corrupted?

This command must be run from a DOS prompt. In any event, restorebackup can only be run when Daemon Manager is shut down. So, open a DOS command prompt, and execute:
net stop crmdmgtd
When Daemon Manager has been shut down, then run:
C:\PROGRA~1\CSCOpx\bin\pdshow
You should get an error about not being able to connect to 127.0.0.1. This is normal. If you see that error, then try doing your restorebackup.
