RME 4.0 Custom Inventory Report Question -

Question 1: Does RME 4.0 have the ability to create Custom Inventory reports for different “card types” like 3.5 does?

If so, then

Question 2: Can it report on daughter cards?

Why do I ask? In 3.5, I don't have the ability to create a "card type" report under Custom Inventory Reports for daughter cards. What I have to do is create and run a "card type" report for all cards that have the ability to have a daughter card connected and then run a detailed device report for devices that have those cards installed to see if any have daughter cards connected. I then save that to a CSV file, open it with Excel and then take out all of the unwanted data. This is somewhat a pain.

Another reason I’m asking is that I’m trying to build a case for upgrading to LMS 2.5.

You can run any custom report that you previously created. When you run the report, Inventory uses the criteria you specified when you created the report and displays information on the devices that match.
