running lm 2.6 backup problems!

Hey all when I run backups i get Backup failed. Reason is . Please look into C:/PROGRA~1/CSCOpx/log/dbbackup.log. for more details. If I look in the dbbackup log its blank.. any ideas ? thanks

Check the permissions on this log. Make sure the permissions allow for casuser to write to the log. Getting the error details will be vital to figuring out why the backup is failing.

checked the log and its showing full access for casuser to write to the log. anywhere else that I can look to see ? thanks

Try running:

C:\PROGRA~1\CSCOpx\bin\perl C:\PROGRA~1\CSCOpx\bin\backup.pl

From the command line. You'll have to specify additional arguments to the script based on how you want the backup to work. This should fail as well, but hopefully it will write out a log file with useful information.
