Hi all,
Does the Nexus5000 support any kind of scripting (ie. EEM or some other UNIX shells maybe?)
Is it on the roadmap for some future version ?
regards,
Geert

Yes, NX-OS does support EEM. See https://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/switches/datacenter/sw/4_2/nx-os/system_management/configuration/guide/sm_12eem.html for details.

Seems to be only Nexus7000. Nexus 5000 does not show any eem information.

While that document is for the N7K, the configuration guide for the N5K point to EEM being available:
Unfortunately, I do not have access to an N5K to verify. If you do, you should be able to easily test the "event manager applet" command in config mode.

Further research has led me to believe that the Fabric Manager blurb may be wrong, and EEM is not on the N5K. I am checking with the product team to be sure.

I have confirmed the N5K does not yet support EEM. Support is being planned for a future release, however. The documentation on Cisco.com has now been corrected.
