What data sheet are you looking at?

The term "SDN" or "Software defined Networking" appears nowhere in that data sheet.
The 6807-XL runs plain old IOS and it would be a real stretch of marketing hyperbole to call any of its support SDN.
The SDN term is usually reserved for devices with true programmatic interfaces that eschew the interactive command line interface in favor of a northbound API. Something like a Nexus 9000 series running ACI mode vs. the classic NX-OS mode.
