I have an 837 Router that connects a remote office via an ADSL line. In normal usage a Virtual-Access interface appears under the Dialer1 interface. The bandwidth on the Virtual-Access interface, when a show int is run, gives the value of 56K. The ADSL link is 1Mbps though.
My network monitoring software (CW2K) constantly reports high utilisation due to this incorrect and low value of 56K. If I try to configure a bandwidth statement on the interface the IOS states I should configure a Virtual-Template.
Can anyone tell me briefly what I need to configure to get the Virtual-Access interface bandwidth set to 1Mbps.
