Smart Serial & V.35 Interface

I have to terminate a V.35 interface on to my 1841 router what cable should i use and what interface for router should i use on router if smart serial that what cable to use and kindly tell me is the male /female both for v.35 are know my the same name

Hi Imran

If you are using WIC-1T card then you must use Cisco 60-pin "5-in-1" connector.

This connector is DB-60 on one end and can be V.35, RS-232, RS-449, X.21 or EIE-530 on the other end depending on your needs.

In your case its V.35 the other end so you can make use of normal serial cable.

when you are using WIC-2T then you must make use of Smart Serial cables which comes with different shape/size.
