Hi everyone,
I'm trying to perform snmp get operations on an ASR920, more precisely on the VRRP. But I've found out that while in other routers (ASR 1001-X, ISR 1100, etc...) the oid 1.3.6.1.2.1.68 works well (VRRP-MIB ), on the ASR 920 it doesnt'. Here are the debugs from an ISR 11XX and an ASR 920:
ISR1117:
ISR1100#snmp get-bulk v2c 10.0.0.1 public timeout 2 non-repeaters 1 max-repetitions 1 oid 1.3.6.1.2.1.68
SNMP Response: reqid 19, errstat 0, erridx 0
vrrpNodeVersion.0 = 1
ISR1100#
*Feb 20 16:24:11.616: SNMP: Get-bulk request, reqid 19, nonrptr 1, maxreps 1
vrrpMIB = NULL TYPE/VALUE
*Feb 20 16:24:11.619: SNMP: Packet sent via UDP to 10.0.0.2.161
*Feb 20 16:24:11.619: SNMP: Packet received via UDP from 10.0.0.2 on BDI783
*Feb 20 16:24:11.619: SNMP: Get-bulk request, reqid 19, nonrptr 1, maxreps 1
vrrpMIB = NULL TYPE/VALUE
ASR 920:
ASR920#snmp get-bulk v2c 1.1.1.1 public timeout 2 non-repeaters 1 max-repetitions 1 oid 1.3.6.1.2.1.68
SNMP Response: reqid 1, errstat 0, erridx 0
nhrpNextIndex.0 = 0
ASR920#
*Feb 20 07:29:19.933: SNMP: Get-bulk request, reqid 1, nonrptr 1, maxreps 1
mib-2.68 = NULL TYPE/VALUE
*Feb 20 07:29:19.936: SNMP: Packet sent via UDP to 172.16.0.1.161
*Feb 20 07:29:19.937: SNMP: Packet received via UDP from 192.168.100.2 on GigabitEthernet0/0/7
*Feb 20 07:29:19.937: SNMP: Get-bulk request, reqid 1, nonrptr 1, maxreps 1
mib-2.68 = NULL TYPE/VALUE
Is there another MIB for VRRP on the ASR920 or it really doesn't exist? Thanks,
Best regards.

- Can sometimes also depend on the software version the ASR is using ; do you have a recent version ?

Thanks for the reply,
Well I have a pretty recent version, 3.18.4SP (march 2018). But I have tested some devices on quite older versions and worked fine.

Hello,
Sorry about the late response. I finally opened a TAC case and the engineer confirmed to me that it's not implemented for the ASR 920. Thanks,
Best regards.
