SNMP MIB for discovering hardware for inventory

Is there a MIB which would give nice output suitable for populating a hardware network inventory?

We're looking for the MIB we could use to put in a script which would give us chassis, flash, linecards and power supply per Cisco device...

There are actually a few MIBs that can provide different pieces of this, and it really depends on the device and software as to which you will use. The MIBs include OLD-CISCO-CHASSIS-MIB, ENTITY-MIB, CISCO-ENTITY-ASSET-MIB, CISCO-STACK-MIB, CISCO-FLASH-MIB, CISCO-MEMORY-POOL-MIB, and CISCO-ENV-MON-MIB.
