Hi all,
Im trying to upload some configuration via SNMPv3, of which i have researched and seen that I need to create to add write v1default to my group, I have done this as per the below
STR-LAB-01-RTR-01(config)#do sh run | i snmp snmp-server group SNMP_SERVERS v3 auth write v1default snmp-server group SNMP_SERVERS v3 priv STR-LAB-01-RTR-01(config)#do show snmp user User name: SNMP_RO Engine ID: 80000009030000C88B976F20 storage-type: nonvolatile active Authentication Protocol: SHA Privacy Protocol: AES128 Group-name: SNMP_SERVERS
however, when I attempt to upload via snmpset, I get an access denied error
AW-MacBook-Pro:scp alex$ snmpset -v 3 -u SNMP_RO -l authPriv -a SHA -A *****' -x AES -X '*****' 172.18.10.85 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.96.1.1.1.1.6.336 s ssh-config Error in packet. Reason: noAccess Failed object: SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.9.9.96.1.1.1.1.6.336
is this an issue with my OID, SNMP command or the config, if anyone is able to assist?
Thanks
Alex
