Hi,
We have a need for simple software to build/re-build routers and switches. We currently have some Procomm scripts which do a lousy job of searching for the Rommon or switch prompt and then automatically TFTP an IOS and config. Procomm is painful, as is building the scripts.
Does Cisco have software which, if a router is connected to a PC via the console cable, with a couple clicks completely blow away the old IOS/configs and rebuild it from scratch?
It needs to be easy, our maintenance guys are not Cisco experts. They get a blank router, pop it into a rack, cable it up and need to press a button to make it all work...
We use 3750 and 6509's...
Thank you for any help,
Mark

The closest thing we have is Cisco Network Assistant (CNA).

I read the docs for CNS, as far as I can tell it does not support 6509's with SUP720 cards. Is this correct?
