Someone help me - when connect glc-t to switch not working

HI  

I am a woman with 22 years old I started my new job in networking i love it 

But now I have a problem

I have a server hp dl360p gen8 with sfp newtwork adpter 

I also have an old switch with Mark ZMC 10/100

I Connect  GLC-T to my server and cable connect to my lap top work it true and led network adapter turn on when connect cable to my switch or mikrotic and modem or etc.. not workink I do not know what to do

Hi @maria.zirondile

   Take a look on the switch port configuration and the server port configuration. As you said, the switch is 10/100 and GLC-T is 10/100/1000. If the switch side is not "auto-negotiate" the communication will not happen. 

 Make sure both are trying to communicate on the same speed and duplex.
