SPAN on ASR1k

Does ASR 1000 series support SPAN ? If yes, please help to provide configuration guide.

I would like to mirror one local port to another local port in the same router.

AFAIK, ASR doesn't support local SPAN as of now.

You can use ERSPAN to achieve the results.

Example: Configuring an ERSPAN as a Local SPAN

The following example shows how to configure an ERSPAN as a local SPAN.

monitor session 10 type erspan-source

source interface GigabitEthernet0/0/0

destination

erspan-id 10

ip address 10.10.10.1

origin ip address 10.10.0.1

monitor session 20 type erspan-destination

destination interface GigabitEthernet0/0/1

source

erspan-id 10

ip address 10.10.0.1
