Static NAT, Dynamic NAT or PAT! How do I know which and when?

Hello, so this is more or less asking for some examples to further my understanding.

I understand;

Static NAT (1 specific internal IP to 1 specific external IP) like 192.168.1.5 to be 207.107.x.177 Internet address always.

PAT (A range of internal IP’s to a specific external IP triggered upon port usage?) like 192.168.1.2-192.168.1.50 all use 1 Internet IP but uses port usage. What if 2 LAN IP’s are both using Port 21 at same time?

Dynamic NAT (This is where I am unsure of a scenario where to use differently than Static NAT)
