Syslog on LMS 4.01

Hello.

I have installed LMS 4.1 on our server. Now it has worked fine for almost a month, but now I have a strange problem.

At the top of the page indicates the number of program errors or syslog. The problem is that the number is constant and does not change. If I click on the numbers, I get an error message (see attachment)

I have done as described in the document https://supportforums.cisco.com/docs/DOC-8796, but with the exception of the password.

But the problem is still there. Some suggestions on what I can try now?

I am running LMS 4.1 on a Windows 2008 - R2 and has 1500 licenses

What browser are you using?  Firefox 4.0 is known to not work with the Fault Monitor view.  You will need to use IE 7.0, IE 8.0, or FF 3.6.

Hello again and thanks for your response.

We use IE 8 (see Appendix). I have tested on both Windows 7 and XP, but with the same result.

Can errors with IE also caused the error message "Sorry, an error occured" in the Monitor> Monitoring Tools> Fault Monitor (See Appendix), I also see that the process DFMCTMStartup is in status "Administrator ha shut down this server" is this normal?

Regards Jens

The only other issue I know around the Fault Monitor is CSCtf53724, but the workaround is simply to reload the screen.  Are you able to test another browser (either Firefox 3.6 or IE 7)?  I also noticed your client is localized for Norwegian.  Try a US English localization.

The DFMCTMStartup daemon is almost always shutdown under normal circumstances.  This is not causing a problem.
