Telnet connection on LMS 3.0

Hi,

Our client has LMS 3.0 installed to monitor their routers, switches, and firewall. Evrything seemed to work out fine except for the telnet connection when you right click on the device under Topology Services map. When you click on Telnet, a window would pop-up stating "Connecting to 92.169.1.133" where it should be 192.169.1.133 since that is the device's IP address. There are some that shows the correct IP but still cannot connect thru telnet.

I even tried to access telnet thru Device Center but to no avail.

Is this a bug on Ciscoworks LMS 3.0? Didn't encounter such problems with LMS 2.6 and 2.5. And I did the same procedure in installing all the modules and the device credentials are ok since I have already archived the configurations of most of the devices.

Telnet from the Topology Map is broken in LMS 3.0. This was fixed in LMS 3.0.1. As for Device Center, this is simply a telnet:// URL link. The actual handling of this URL depends on your browser and your client's config. Browsers typically launch telnet.exe.
