Terminal Sever - ASA Console Access

Hi

I have a Cisco router running as a Terminal Server for OOB console access to various Cisco devices.

I'm seeing an intermittent issue with ASA console ports where they seem to lock up. When this happens I can see output on the console port, but I can't input anything. A reboot of the ASA cures the problem for a while but the issue returns.

Kind Regards

Terry

If you have low level logging turned on for your ASA console, you could be overrunning the input buffers on the console server.

Hi Marvin

Thanks for your reply.

I don't have console logging enabled on the ASA's.

When I look at the Terminal Server lines connected to the ASA's I am seeing noise and overruns, however, I am also seeing these on other lines that are working ok.
