Traffic monitoring

Good day.

Please is it possible to monitore the traffic generate by each host connects to router 1711? Monitoring base on each ip address and port use.

How ?

Hi,

You can certainly do this using Netflow, i'am not too sure if you can get it on a 1711 router but you more than likely can.

It will basically monitor source and destination IP addresses and source and destination port numbers.

You can view the output from the router CLI or export it to a netflow reader application.

Talking about monitoring, is there another tools that can permit too monitor the state of router; physically present on screen ?It gives information qbout the state of every interface (up , down)
