Folks,

What is UCS in networking? A unified computing system (UCS) is is a converged data center architecture that integrates computing, networking and storage resources to increase efficiency and enable centralized management. UCS products are designed and configured to work together effectively.

I got definition of UCS from a website. but I still cannot understand it completely. Any can explain why we use it by a example, and what is relation between UCS and ACI. Maybe no any relation between both. Thanks

UCS is just a bigger computer with more memory, more cpu, more storage and pre loaded operating system, for hosting application that 1000s of devices can access simultaneously just like an HP or a dell server but only better

ACI is a network like any other network, but it’s built specifically for data center environment, keeping application performance and security in mind.

hope this helps, there are many resources on YouTube.

It sounds like a server. If so, what is difference between UCS and  server? Thanks
