Unstable Network

Hi All,

I am facing a problem in my Network, its fluctuating always.

I have eleven Cisco switches in my network (Cisco 2950and Express 500)

I will get ping response for a few minutes then it goes down.

Again after some time it comes up again.

We face this problem especially during peak times

Can anyone help me to find out the root cause and solve it permanently?

The connectivity problem may cause the below following reasons.

1. Network Interface Card (NIC) Compatibility Issues

2. Ethernet 10/100Mb Half/Full Duplex Auto-Negotiation

3. Ethernet Collisions

4. Switch Port Problems

5. Portfast to Fix Workstation Startup Connectivity Delays

So please verify the above things.
