What version of RME are you using? What protocols are you using to deploy the images (i.e. telnet/TFTP, SSH/TFTP, SSH/SCP, etc.)? At what point does the timeout occur?

RME version 4.0.6;SSH/TFTP,After i implement the task and after a while,it reports timeout

Is it possible to upgrade a device with telnet / tftp?
We had the same issue with 3560 switches and running IOS 12.2(46)SE.
A TAC service request give us information that there are several big bugs in that IOS with SSH.
Workaround for us is to upgrade all devices by using telnet.
In our case it is not a problem of RME!

Thanks you for your great help.I will try to use telnet/tftp to try.
