Inside LMS you mean?

In the device center there is a check credentials link.

It will try to verify the read and write community strings as well as other configured credentials.

If you wish to see the community strings you beter export the device from Common services -> Device and Credentials -> Device Management -> Export

Cheers,

Michel

Hi michel, thnx for reply.. one thing more. Can i see all devices at once i.e list of all devices which have SNMP string or not. So that I can get a whole list of devices which hav not SNMP.

thnx

Do you mean the decives ciscoworks has discovered?

Yes they will all be in the export file.

If you mean just any device in your network then no.

If they don't have an SNMP string you know and CDP on then ciscoworks will not find them.

Cheers,

Michel

Answered this in another post:

If you are trying to run a query on whether or not a device has snmp configured on it, then LMS may not be able to do this.

In order for a device to be managed in LMS it must have the SNMP RO string configured. If not, then it won't become a managed device. If its not a managed device you won't be able to run show commands or other reports on the device.

If snmp is not configured there's not much you can do in LMS to determine this info.
