A discussion has popped up in the office surrounding the database that Ciscoworks uses. Does it install and use MSDE as default ? I am aware that Microsoft SQL Server Desktop Engine has a 2 GB limit, will this affect performance of the CiscoWorks server ?
Or does it use its proprietary database ? If so, what ? Will upgrading to SQL Server 2000 improve things ?
