You use your 6500 as a master NTP server???? Why?
Cisco appliance doesn't have a authoritative clock. All they have is a simple clock (like the ones powering a PC). Either you let your 6500 go out to the internet to get an authoritative clock of you consider getting a dedicated GPS receiver that functions as an authoritative NTP source.

Hard to tell. Is this the only unit that had the power failure? Any unit connected to this machine that did not had a power failure?

But I has One question, Why the 6500 can't keep clock time running (like PC) when the power failure?

You can "save" the calendar/time of a 6500, however, it's not "accurate". The clock can be, for example, 10 minutes ahead. Compare the clock now on the 6500 and the correct clock and you'll see discrepancies.

Thank for your keep answering my question , I do know the 6500's clock is undependable now. But my customer wanted to find the exactly reason about the worry time after the power recover. As we know ,it should be two result as the scenario, one is the time go back to 1993 as default , and another is continue not matter it's some minutes ahead or behind.
The problem I meet is the time only delay the same as the power failure time lasted, e.g. the power failed for 2 hours, and when the 6500 recover, the clock displayed 2 hours delayed.
So it's so confused

Check the config of your 6500 for the command "ntp update-calendar".
If this present, the command periodically update the calendar (time and date) from your source NTP. Example, presume that the last calendar update was at 14:00, 13 October 2011. Luck would have it that you had a power outage at 14:01, 13 October 2011 and recovered the next day at 06:00 14 October 2011. Guess what time the clock of the 6500 would be. It would be 14:00 13 October 2011.
