Which management protocol is the safest and recommended?

Hello,

I would like to  manage my network which is full of cisco (and other) switches (send configurations to big ammount of devices). I have read that it supports salt, ztp, ipxe, naplam and antible. Is there an authentication and encryption in those protocols? I wonder which of these protocols is recommended for mass network management of network devices.

If you using SSH as management then it is secure.

But I would like to spread my configurations among hundreds of switches and routers, so I cannot use a simple ssh .

you can use any automation tool which is comfortable- depends on IOS / IOS XE / NexusOS.

Like RestAPI, ansible, napalm, restconf, python so on.
