Would like some assistance troubleshooting snmp on 2600

Good morning!

Cisco 2621XM running 12.2

Would like to configure MRTG on an outside box for monitoring & would love some assistance with getting SNMP up and working.

My outside box is 38.117.168.x

Router outside interface is 38.117.168.x1

Conf on the router:

access-list 50 permit 38.117.168.x

snmp-server community secret RW 50

snmp-server ifindex persist

snmp-server packetsize 2048

snmp-server enable traps snmp authentication linkdown linkup coldstart warmstart

snmp-server host 38.117.168.x secret

When i try and run cfgmaker from my mrtg box im receiving an snmpwalk problem and no info could be retrieved...

Hi,

A couple items:

1)  What is the exact error message?

2)  Verify the connectivity between devices

3)  Verify community is entered correctly

4)  Examine ACLs

5)  Debug device

5)  Packet capture
