4120 Cluster getting %LACP-SP-4-MULTIPLE_NEIGHBORS: Multiple neighbors detected

I have 2 Cisco 4120 firewalls connected to a VSS with 2 6807 chassis.  I am having problems with the spanned etherchannel.  I frequently have links suspended and the switch returns a %LACP-SP-4-MULTIPLE_NEIGHBORS: Multiple neighbors detected error.  In looking further into the problem, the links that get suspended are all show the Sngl-port-Bndl Mstr Not-in-Bndl port state.

Below, I have included the configuration for the port channel on the 4120's and the port channel on the VSS pair.  I have tried various things to no avail.

4120 Port Channels (Same on both)

enter port-channel 5
enable
enter member-port 1 5
enable
exit
enter member-port 1 6
enable
exit
enter member-port 1 7
enable
exit
enter member-port 1 8
enable
exit
set auto-negotiation no
set descr ""
set duplex fullduplex
set flow-control-policy default
set lacp-policy-name default
set port-type data
set speed 10gbps
exit

VSS Port Channel

interface Port-Channel 5

switchport

switchport trunk native vlan #

switchport mode trunk

switchport nonegotiate

port-channel port hash-distribution fixed

end

interface TenGigabitEthernet te2/1/5  (all of the member ports match this config)

switchport

switchport trunk native vlan #

switchport mode trunk

switchport nonegotiate

lacp rate fast

channel-protocol lacp

channel-group 5 mode active

end

The problem seems to be resolved with reboot of the chassis and taking the logical device offline and bringing it back.  Now working as usual.
