Hi,

As mentioned in title, since 17th of June, ASA gets disconnected at certain time between 9:00 ~ 10:00AM KST.

The disconnection lasts for about 20 minutes and comes back up automatically.

I have checked the logs from ASA and Switches but nothing is up.

I got this update from numerous clients and nees to resolved asap.

I will post the configuration if you want.

Thank You,

What firmware is the appliance running on?

Hi Leo,

Thank you for replying.

The softwarever version is 9.8(1)

Kindly read Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance Web Services Denial of Service Vulnerability (CVE-2018-0296).

Pay close attention to the Exploitation and Public Announcements section which states:

In September 2019, the Cisco Product Security Incident Response Team (PSIRT) became aware of additional attempted exploitation of this vulnerability in the wild

Hi,

Thanks for replying.

I have checked the hyperlink and executed the command line from ASA to check the vulnerability.

Attached is the result and it seems it is vulnerable.

Would firmware update to 9.8.2.28 resolve the issue for sure?
