Active/Standby failove configuration on 5506x

I'm trying to configure two ASA 5506x units as and active/standby failover pair. 

Following the procedure from the ASA configuration guide says to designate the primary unit then specify the interface.

When I do this the response i get from the ASA is:

ERROR:  Legacy syntax is only supported for configuration conversion.

I'm not sure where to go with the configuration next

This was pulled from the docs and this command sequence didnt work for you?

failover lan unit primary

failover lan interface folink gigabitethernet0/3

failover interface ip folink 172.27.48.1 255.255.255.0 standby 172.27.48.2

interface gigabitethernet 0/3

no shutdown
