Hi

Is this asa a new device?
Is the FMC new also?

There was a bug affecting 6.2.0 but never gave that issue in 6.2.2:

So this is a new install but I uninstalled the older version and started a fresh install.

And they were never connected together since you installed them from scratch?
Is the fmc also installed from scratch or an upgrade?

Thanks

it was connected to a different FMC. Now I'm trying to associate it with a new FMC install.

If your devices had been erased and reinstalled from scratch and you're trying to connect it to your new fmc it should work.

So all TAC did was re-add the firepower with a network discovery ACP instead of Balanced Security and Connectivity and voila it worked. Weird but thanks for  your prompt feedback

Ok thanks for the feedback and that your issue is solved

Thank you for this solution @NETAD !  Spent a lot of time on the phone with TAC yesterday and we still weren't able to get the SFR registered with our FMC.  Came in this morning, restarted our FMC, waited over 2 hours for "system services" to start :( and I was finally able to log in.  I tried your solution of creating a new Network Discovery ACP and bingo!  SFR module registered.  The TAC engineer said your post was "very helpful".  Thanks!

This helped me too! FMC 6.6.4, FTD 6.6.4
