Hi,
I got tired of managing the FP module with ASDM and found out that the entry license för Management center was cheap. But i don´t know if I have understood the licensing part completly. Do i need to move the license-keys from the inline module to management center or does the MC pick up the license-keys on the ASA?
Cheers
Martin

Hi Martin,
You will have to send a mail to licensing@cisco.com with licensing key of Management center
and ask to bind the license to this one as license key of ASDM and FMC are different.
Rate if it helps.
Thanks,
Ankita

All FirePOWER licenses (classic type) are tied to the managing unit - either ASDM or FirePOWER Management Center.
The license key is derived from the system model type (internal designation ) and MAC address.
