AIP License updates when in Smartnet services

Hi, 

I have few AIPs currently  under SmartNet  services , few AIPs are giving yellow alerts of lic expiration as seen in attached info,  we just renew  today service contract , the question is would  the current lic on these  automatically update with respect to the renewal  process when clears up or will these required manual  lic download again from cisco and go through the manual update process of licenses on each device.

Hoping the current  lic will automatically rollover  ,  could  someone confirm  otherwise.

The licenses do not auto update, but the process is failry simple with IME.

Once you've purchased the service contract renewals you will need to use IME to pull a new license for each sensor from cisco.com.

Do the instructions from this link for each sensor with a new service contract (use the Cisco.com button in Step 3).
