Allow only certain external IP addresses connectivity (ASA5512)

Hi,

I am using an ASA5512, basic setup is -

Outside 0/0 - ISP

Inside 0/1 - LAN

Public 0/2 - Public servers

Can someone tell me if it is possible to create a firewall rule for outside traffic allowed from 3 specific IP addresses to a client on the Public network? If this is possible how can this be configured ASDM 7.1?

Thanks in advance

Richard

Yes it's definitely possible.

I use the CLI but have a look at the following link which goes through how to do it -

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/security/asa/asa91/asdm71/firewall/asdm_71_firewall_config/access_rules.html#pgfId-1268936
