Am planning to upgrade ASA5525 IOS version 9.2(2)4 to 9.12(4)10

model number: ASA5525

Current IOS version: 9.2(2)4
Target IOS version: 9.12(4)10

So i can directly upgrade to the 9.12 version from 9.2, no intermittent version not required right.

Kindly provide a suggestion on it?

Hi @VinothkumarRajendran29612

You can directly upgrade from 9.2 to 9.12.4 without an interim upgrade

bear in mind a lot of enchanment are introduce in verion 9.12 for example "Diffie-Hellman Group 1 Removal in 9.12(1)— Diffie-Hellman Group 1 used by the ASA IKE and IPsec modules is considered insecure and has been removed."

just make sure you aware of these and read the release notes.

actually i would recommand 9.10 as 9.12 is hitting a bug BugID CSCvw24700
