anyconnect and APX licensed

Hi ,

I am using a cluster of 5585 and I received 2 PAKs to activate the APX anyconnect license and I have 2 questions

do I have to activate one PAK per node ? one for the primary and the second for the standby node

and after the run the activation key on the first node I had this message , i know that I have to reboot but it's more about what is in bold do I have to take care of such warning , 10GE is my inside interface and all DMZs so critical for us.

   10GE I/O

You only have to apply the license to the active unit in an Active/Standby Pair. It is automatically replicated to the standby (ASA 8.3 onwards).

Regarding your warning, you would have to open a case with Cisco Licensing and provide them your existing licenses and new PAK so that they can create a new activation key that has all the licenses that you had previously. Sometimes, the new activation key disables existing features, hence make sure your "show version" before and after the license activation has the same features enabled.
