Hi,
I have a 5505 ver 8.2 connected to a router with a T1 internet connection. There was a problem with the internet service and when it was resolved the ASA did not pass traffic to the internet until it was power-cycled. Unfortunately that's all the info I have, as I was not onsite and couldn't access the ASA.
Is there anything I can do to avoid this issue?

Hi Dustin,
Not much that you can do now, seems to me that reloading the ASA claered the arp entries and learnt them again, whihc resolved the issue. So not much we can do about it.
Hope this helps.
Thanks,
Varun

Thanks for the replay, that's pretty much what I expected.

Couple other things you could of done was access the ASA via the console and perform a clear arp or shut down the interface and then bring it back up via shut and no shut
