ASA 5505 upgrade ASDM and ASA software

Hi,

I have recently tried a upgrade from asa722.bin to asa802-k8.bin and asdm502.bin to asdm6.2.bin. I had renamed the old asa and asdm images. When try to launch the ASDM Manager i get an error 'your asa image has a version number 8.0(2) which is not supported by ASDM5.2' and it kicks me out. I tried to do a reload of default config and it doesn't reload the default config, it just says "loading cached software". Is there away of getting to my ASA 5505 by ASDM launch manager?

after i ran asdm image command, i'm still getting the same error and i can't get into the ASDM manager. Any help would be appreciated.

Pls do "show version" check if firewall is running on 7.2.2 then we need to use asdm 522 image which in flash.

Pls give a command in configuration prompt

asdm image flash:/asdm-522.bin

write memory

if possible reboot

If you IOS in running 8.0.2 then we need to use asdm 6.0.2 .. pls upload asdm-602.bin file on flash .old file will not work

then commands

no asdm image flash:/asdm-522.bin

asdm image flash:/asdm-602.bin

* pls check http access is enable on firewall .. else give command

http server enable

http 0 0 inside
