asa 5506: cannot issue command "route outside"

why on asa5506 there are no such option as route outside?!

configure mode commands/options:

I assume you have an interface configured with nameif outside?

 security-level 100

seems the ASA was in routed mode, but I expected it in transparent mode, 

sorry my bad,

I've set it into transparent mode, now no problem with setting related default gateway.

p.s. after command 'firewall transparent' the device sets itself into default basic config, which requires to reconfigure it.
