ASA 5508-X ROMMON 1.1.8 fails after upgrade to FTD 6.3.0.3

As a warning, after upgrade from 6.2.x to 6.3.0.3 of the FTD image, the ROMMON is upgraded to 1.1.8 and it will fail. This will require a replacement hardware from Cisco under the SLA.

Did you try upgrading the rommon separately to the current release (1.1.15)?

I called TAC and they shipped a new router. It's not possible to upgrade AFAIK when it is in that state.

Glad you getting new RMA, time for fresh install and move the config in to kit.
