ASA 5510 syslog configuration

Hi alll,

i want to configure asa 5510 to send syslog messages to syslog server which i placed in my inside interface. Can sumone help me to configure this? also if enableing syslog will inrease the cpu utilization or memory? kindly help me and tel me the necessary configuration parts??

The Cisco docs have all the information you need. Here is the syslog configuation for the ASA -

As for CPU utilisation it depends what level you log at. If you logged at the debugging level then yes it could well overload the firewall but you shouldn't log at that severity level.
