I am new to Network Adminstration and our company has an ASA 5510 with and AIP SSM-10 card. On the ASA interface when i try to load Intrusion Detection it says the following:
"For IPS 5.1(1)S205.0, use the link below to access IPS Device Manager. (If the SSM management IP address or port is translated, replace them accordingly in the below URL). IPS 6.0.1 or above will be fully interated into ASDM."
Unfortunately, no URL is displayed below this message and there is no documentation in the company that has that configuration. Is there a way to reset the AIP without reseting the ASA? How can I find the IP to be able to configure this?

From the ASA CLI, you will be able to check the IP Address of the AIP module:
show module details
It will show you the mgmt ip address of the module, and you can https to that IP Address from your PC.
