ASA 5510

Hi All,

Just want to confirm if ASA 5510 has failover and load balancing functionalities coz i was told that ASA 5510 with ASA 7.1 software has no such functions at the moment but if the saoftware upgraded to ASA 7.2, it will have this functions.

Hey Ed,

5510 does not actually support FO and LB.

Take a look to this url of the ASA series.

ASA-7.2 code has not been released on market yet... so it is pretty early to say if those feature are going to be supported in the futur on 5510.

The 5510 can be purchased with the security Plus option which allows for an Active/Standby Failover.
