Faulty PIX ? PPOE

First, I have configured over 20+ PIX 501s w/ PPOE with no problems. I am currently working on a PIX 501 6.3.5 trying to get PPOE to work; Keep getting link down/LCP errors. I've swapped cables, dsl modems to no avail.

I have another device which connects OK thru the dsl modem/line. Could I possibly have a faulty PIX ?

Fixed Problem;

1) Removed all references to PPPOE info:

vpdn xxxxxxx ,

2) Re-Added needed vpdn info , making sure

"local name line" was set before authentication line:

vpdn group xxxxx ppp authentication pap
