The SSD may be unhealthy.

Has this appliance ever had a working Firepower service module?

How can I check ssd? format it on linux pc or some tools for ssd health?

Yes. it worked for two years.

Is it possible to use non orig ssd?

Why is it that it is always the SSD that has gone bad? I have an ASA 5525-X HA pair and in the past 6 months, I had 3 SSD's RMA's. The first instance, both SSD's on both ASA's in the pair went bad at the same time during an upgrade. This last time, only 1 of them went bad but i have the same problem and error messages upgrading both ASA's but only 1 SSD was RMA'd.

I think its the default excuse used by TAC instead of trying to figure out what is really causing the upgrade/reimage failure.

hi,

did you remove the current/old FP OS?

check the MD5 hash of the new OS and compare it with the download page if they're the same.

ASA#sw-module module sfr uninstall

sw-module module sfr uninstall

Unable to uninstall Module sfr, it does not have a software image installed.

Md5 is the same. And I also tried 6.7 ver.
