My ASA reboots without notice once a day and my syslog shows no signs on what causing it. What should I be looking for or set the logging where I can catch it.
Thanks

you can use the below command to find the crash info if any and then can use the Cisco's Output interpreter to analyse the issue.
ciscoasa#sh crashinfo

If you have the resources available, you could throw a console cable onto it and have a laptop record the output for the evening.
Low tech, but effective :-)

i sent a crashinfo to Cisco and found our anyconnect causing the problem. who would have thought?

Didn't have anything to do with unicorn threads, did it?
I had some reboots yesterday that I believe to be caused by VPN messages syncing between the active and primary machines, version 8.2(1).
Did Cisco provide any recommendations?

We have 8.0(4) and they recommended using 8.0(4)32.

I suggest you investigate the power source, environmental factors(a/c, proper ventilation) and open a TAC case and supply them with the info they request.
