ASA 5540 copy image fails with checksum error

Hello everyone!

I've got an active/active 5540 setup with 9.1(1) which I am trying to upgrade.

while there is no problem with primary unit, when I try to copy tftp: disk0: same image to the secondary unit i get an error "Checksum verification on new image failed".

even when i try to copy disk0: disk0: current running image, I stuck on same error.

If I try to copy the asdm image the error is "Failed to verify ASDM file hash."

Is this a bad flash? what can I do to verify?

You can try these two things,

a) "fsck flash" and then try to copy.

b) If it still does not work, then "format flash" which will certainly help in this case.
